Bottom Stamping for Your Mugs

If you look on the underside of your Sunset Hill Stoneware mugs, you'll likely see a stamp on the bottom with our company logo and a label reading, "Handcrafted in the USA."

There are multiple options for bottom stamping on your personalized mugs. Below are the most common options we offer for this service.

Option A: Standard

This is the bottom stamp that we offer on most of our mugs. Our default classic stamp available nationwide features our logo, the "Handcrafted in the U.S.A." label and a link to our website. If you or your business are located near or in Wisconsin, your mugs will read, "Handcrafted in Wisconsin." We like to add a little local flavor for our fellow Wisconsinites, so your customers will see that you proudly supply a product native to the region. Because it is printed in potter's ink, these stamps can withstand high temperatures and are designed to last. 

We also offer two additional bottom stamp options. Please specify with your sales rep if you'd like these on your stoneware.

OPTION B: CUSTOM

Add extra branding to your mugs for good measure. Sunset Hill Stoneware can incorporate your logo into a customized bottom stamp to promote your brand even further and add extra legitimacy to the quality of your unique mugs.

Your customized bottom stamp will include your logo or artwork, plus an additional label saying that it was handcrafted in the U.S.A. by Sunset Hill Stoneware. It can also include a message containing only text, if you'd prefer. In either case, this label further displays to your customers and clients that you care about quality and supporting American products.

We also offer the option of putting educational or historical facts relating to your organization on the bottom of your mugs. A popular option for national and state parks, this allows you to add an educational flair to your product or teach your customers and visitors an interesting fact about your park, museum or even the region around your store.

OPTION C: NO STAMP

If you need the bottoms of your mugs to be blank, we also offer to make them with no bottom stamping upon request. There is an additional upcharge associated with this option, so please consult your account specialist for pricing.
